What is a Race Night?
A Race Night is the most popular and profitable way to fundraise. It combines two of the most enjoyable social activities – a day at the races and a night out with friends. But most importantly for a busy club committee, it makes money quickly with minimum hassle and maximum good will!
How it works on the Night
Ten films of horse races are shown on the night. Horses, jockeys and owners will have been pre-sold by club members and friends. Betting tickets will be sold on the night and horses in the final race of the night will be auctioned to the highest bidder.
How much can we raise?
An average size club can expect to raise between €3,000 and €10,000 in total from a race night.
