Tote Betting & Auction

The Tote operates on the night just like a tote at a racetrack. Each race will have different colour tickets for horses 1 to 8. At the end of each race our M.C will calculate odds. Bets are usually €2 per ticket.

The last race of the night is an Auction Race. This race is not pre-sold, instead it’s sold on the night. There are 8 horses in the race, club members and friends are invited to form syndicates and bid for any horse. Winners of the Auction Race receive 50% of all monies raised at this race. The other 50% goes directly to the club.
